My background is in the development of diamond-based quantum sensors and metrology protocols for the precision measurement of nanoscale magnetic and magnetic resonance phenomena. At the University of Melbourne School of Chemistry I led the Quantum Bio-Spectroscopy group; working with partners from CSIRO, the Florey, WEHI, and numerous other biomedical institutes to translate these sensors to applications in biochemical research.

Having recently joined CSIRO as a Science Leader in Quantum Biotechnology, we are focused on utilising these techniques for the development of next-generation biomedical, defence, and analytical technology.
