Purpose of Primary Carer’s Support
QUBIC is committed to supporting QUBIC members who have primary caring responsibilities to be able to attend QUBIC events that they may otherwise be unable to attend.
We have some funding available to support those in our community with caring responsibilities to be able to attend QUBIC events. Requests will be considered and allocated according to order of receipt and need. The types of events where QUBIC members may apply for primary carer’s support are:
- Symposium
- Summer School
- Theme workshops
How much is available?
You may apply for up to $300 of caring support per day, with a max. of $1500 per year.
We realise every family has different circumstances surrounding their need for primary carer’s support, so if you have higher or lower needs, please contact Dr Allison Fish to discuss.
Please note: We would like to ensure that these limited funds go to those in the QUBIC community who truly need them, and we appreciate your understanding and support in this effort.
How to apply?
Please submit your request via the Primary Carer’s Support Request form to Dr Allison Fish, Chair of QUBIC IDEAs Portfolio.
Each request will be reviewed, and you will receive a response as soon as possible.
